A subtly fragrant spice blend. Exotic spices combine with the unique tang of Moroccan preserved lemon, perfect for tagines of lamb, fish or poultry. Serve with couscous or rice pilaf. Mild. Gluten free and vegetarian friendly.
Vegetarians will love what a spoonful of Moroccan Spice Blend does for couscous, chick peas or diced cooked vegetables - stir through after steaming.
- 750g diced lean lamb
- ½ jar Charmaine Solomon's Moroccan Spice Blend
- 12 dried apricots
- 12 pitted prunes
- 1 teaspoon honey
Put the Moroccan Spice Blend in a pan with the diced lean lamb and 1 cup water. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add the apricots and prunes and teaspoon of honey. Simmer 20 minutes or until lamb is tender. Serves 6 with couscous or rice pilaf.
