The original balsamic glaze, beautiful with salads, mozzarella, fresh fruit, ice cream, grilled meat and vegetables. Use as a garnish over dishes. Designed to add the richness and consistency of a glaze, while respecting the traditional origins of this special vinegar. Balsamic Vinegar of Modena 70%. Gluten free.
OMELETTE WITH CLASSIC BALSAMIC GLAZE
- 4 eggs (preferably free range)
- 4 ham slices (preferably free range)
- 4 slices of Maarsdam, Emmental or Gouda cheese
- Classic Balsamic Glaze
- Italian parsley, finely chopped
Beat the eggs together and pour into a large heated and oiled flat bottomed pan. Turn onto the other side once the bottom is almost cooked. Place slices of cheese and ham onto the top side and once the bottom is cooked place on a plate and gently roll. Cut into half and place one portion on a second plate. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve with fresh Italian parsley. Serves 2.
