Gaea produces a range of extra virgin olive oils, olives, antipasto products, vinegars, sauces and tapenades with a commitment to quality, and based on the numerous culinary awards that they continue to receive and the many devoted fans, with an absolute commitment to great taste!

Since the first Olive press was found in Greece in 2500 BC the Greeks have been perfecting the art of producing Olive Oil. They now produce 80% of the world's high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The renowned Kalamata region of Greece produces some of the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Koroneiki variety of Greek Olive. While small in size these olives produce a high quality oil with a great flavour and aroma, that is low in acidity. While the age of the trees vary, as there are no new plantations and the region was extensively cultivated in ancient times, the trees are usually very old.

As part of Gaea's commitment to the environment and to the quality of their products Gaea proudly displays the D.O.P (Protected Designated of Origin) and P.G.I (Protected Geographical Indication) symbols on its Extra Virgin Olive Oils as the company sources its oils from regions that have been defined and protected by the European Committee in order to give farmers and producers a fair remuneration for producing higher quality products, and to provide a guarantee to consumers of the superior quality of the products.
